Kelsey Omeis

NCIDQ, LEED GA

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Kelsey Omeis is an NCIDQ and LEED accredited interior designer living and working in the heart of New York City. While her exuberant personality separates her from her peers, Kelsey’s willingness to take design risks, coupled with the technical knowledge to achieve it, is what has really propelled her career.

Her specialty lies in corporate workplace design, however, Kelsey has experience designing for projects across industry sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, education, non-profit, and residential. Her experience prior to founding KLSY comes from working for some of New York City’s largest and most well-renowned firms, such as Perkins Eastman and TPG Architecture, which given her a well-rounded skillset and exposure to every single part of the design process: from client interviews all the way to construction.

Furthermore, Kelsey has experience working on projects for note-worthy clients such as Stout Hospitality, TD Bank, Toll Brothers, Amazon, and Central Park Conservancy, as well as a variety of small businesses and home owners. These clients have allowed her to utilize her capabilities to their maximum potential by giving the creative freedom and means to explore and lead projects in the way only a cutting edge designer can. While leading such projects, she has gained extensive expertise in managing a wide range of clients with varying backgrounds and budgets.

In addition to project work, she is extremely involved in the New York City design scene, and has previously been a volunteer for IIDA. When she’s not designing (a rare occurrence), Kelsey loves talking long walks along the West Side Highway, creating educational video content for designers, and traveling any chance she gets. Kelsey received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees of Interior Architecture and Design from Drexel University.
